Open to all of Norfolk’s Secondary School vocalists and Norfolk Music Service Ensemble Players in secondary or higher education; this project will see the participants learn and perform music ranging across many genres. These include opera, oratorio, spirituals as well as classic and contemporary pop music.
Our first digital offering is to be Feeling Good by Nina Simone. This will be arranged for students by David Stowell and the Come and Sing Company.

‘Freedom!’ will encompass secondary school musicians, from all over the county, performing a unique programme of music specifically chosen to reflect the need for physical, emotional and expressive freedom after lockdown.
The Come and Sing company will be working with secondary educational settings at various locations across the county to engage young people with the vocal area of this project.
Ensemble students will have access to online tutorials and music to practice before being asked to submit recordings of their parts for an virtual collaboration with the Instrumental players. This will be under the direction of Mr Stowell and Norfolk Music Service ensemble leads.
