On Wednesday 8 February, players from the City of London Sinfonia visited the Holt area to lead a series of workshops with young string players in advance of their concert at St Andrew’s Church, Holt on 11 February.
The musicians, Rebecca Scott (violin) and Matt Maguire (viola), visited Gresham’s Prep School (also attended by six young violinists from Stibbard All Saints Primary), Kelling Primary School and Holt Training Strings (Music Service ensemble).
The children were all engaged and inspired by Rebecca and Matt’s beautiful musical performance and eagerly participated in a range of fun musical activities.
